Mary Kom fails to qualify for Olympics

New Delhi, May 21 (IBNS): Shocking her fans, MC Mary Kom failed to qualify for the Rio 2016 Olympics after the Indian iconinc boxer was defeated in her pre-quarterfinal clash at the AIBA Women’s World Championships on Saturday.

In the 51kg category clash, she was defeated 0-2 by Germany’s Azize Nimani.

Participants needed to reach the semi-finals of the event to qualify for the Rio games.

Mary had won bronze medal in Olympics in 2012.
