Mesut Ozil extends contarct with Arsenal

London, Feb 2 (IBNS): British football club Arsenal on Friday said Mesut Ozil has signed a new long-term contract with them.

"Mesut has won the Emirates FA Cup three times since joining us in 2013, making 182 appearances, scoring 36 goals and racking up 61 assists," Arsenal website read.

Mesut represented Germany in 2014.

The club further said: "Mesut has been in sparkling form this season too, scoring four goals, claiming seven assists and creating 70 chances in 21 appearances in all competitions."
