Lahore, Mar 3 (IBNS): Peshawar Zalmi franchise owner Javed Afridi on Friday announced that five foreign players are ready to visit Pakistan in case their side qualify for the final of the Pakistan Super League.

"Five of our players will come to Pakistan if Zalmi qualifies for the final in Lahore," Javed Afridi told Geo.tv.

Afridi has told Geo.tv that foreign players like Dawid Malan, Marlon Samuels, Darren Sammy, Chris Jordan & Samit Patel have been issued visas for the South Asian nation.

Earlier, four foreign players, including British batsman Kevin Pietersen, have announced they will not play in the PSL final in Pakistan's Lahore city.

Pietersen posted on his Twitter page: "I'll pick that up in London tomorrow. Bye bye Dubai! Your weather was but the golf was . #FamilyTime."

He made the announcement after Gladiators' win against Zalmi in Sharjah.

Kevin Pietersen and Rilee Rossouw, all-rounder Luke Wright and fast bowler Tymal Mills have confirmed they will not feature in the  final of the tournament.

All the players are associated with Quetta Gladiators.

Luke Wright‏ said he will not travel to Lahore due to security reasons.

"It's with a heavy heart I will not be coming to Lahore. I have a young family and for me a game of cricket is just not worth the risk 1/3," Wright tweeted.

He said: "I'm sorry as I know how much it means to you all and hopefully in the future the safety will not be in doubt to come play there. 2/3."

The cricketer posted: "Thanks once again to @TeamQuetta and @thePSLt20 for having me. Such lovely people. Great tournament with so much talent. See u soon 3/3."

South African Rilee Rossouw tweeted: "For those still unsure its with a sad heart that I must announce that i will not be taking part in the final."

Lahore will host the final of the tournament.
