Rafael Nadal maintains top spot on ATP rankings list

New York, Jan 8 (IBNS): Spanish Tennis star Rafael Nadal maintained his top position on the ATP rankings list, release on Monday, and started the new year with a strong hope of performing brilliantly in 2018.

He is standing on the top of the ATP men's players chart with 10,600 ponts.

He is followed by Swiss master and his old rival on the court Roger Federer (9,605).

Apart from the top two positions, Grigor Dimitrov, who is on the third position in the list, trailed over 4,600 points behind Federer.

Germany's Alexander Zverev moved up to the fourth position ahead of Austria’s Dominic Thiem.

Stan Wawrinka of Switzerland stood in the ninth spot.
