Rain stops play, India struggle at 196/8

Dhaka, June 21 (IBNS): With Indian team struggling at 196 for eight, rain stopped the second ODI match between MS Dhoni;s men and Bangladesh here on Sunday.

Rain hit the match in 43.5 overs as Indian batsmen Ravindra Jadeja (19*) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (2*) struggling to cross the 200-run mark.

After losing opener Rohit Sharma (0) early, Shikhar Dhawan (53*) and Virat Kohli (23*) tried to build the innings as they put up 74 runs in the second wicket partnership.

After Kohli and Dhawan departed, it was skipper MS Dhoni who contiued the fight and added 47 runs with his bat.

Mustafizur Rahman dismissed Dhoni to increase troubles for the 'Men in Blue' as the side struggled at 174 for six.

Mustafizur Rahman bowled another impressive spell as he picked up five wickets by giving away 43 runs in his 9.5 overs so far.

Bangladesh is 1-0 up in the series.
