Rio: Sania,Rohan miss bronze winning chance

Rio, Aug 14 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania MIrza and her mixed doubles partner Rohan Bopanna missed an oppurtunity to clinch bronze at the Rio Olympics as they were defeated by Lucie Hradecka and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic here on Sunday.

The Indian pair were defeated by  6-1, 7-5 margin.

The match lasted for 71 minutes.

Venus Williams and Rajeev Ram of the US had defeated them on Saturday in the semi-finals clash.
