Saina reaches Australian Open final

Sydney, June 28 (IBNS): Indian Badminton icon Saina Nehwal crusied to the final of the $750,000 Star Australian Super Series in Sydney by beating China's Shixian Wang on Saturday.

In the semi-final clash, she defeated her opponent by  21-19 16-21 21-15.

Saina called the three-game contest as 'tough'.

"Beat world number 2 wang shixian in a tough 3 game match. Through to the final of the Australian Open super series!" she tweeted after the victory.
