Sania-Martina clinches Sydney International women's doubles title

Sydney, Jan 16 (IBNS): Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and her partner Martina Hingis clinched the Sydney International women's doubles title on Friday.

The Indo-Swiss duo beat their opponents French third seeds Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic.

Despite trailing 1-6, 2-5, Sania and Martina made a remarkable comeback to win the match 1-6 7-5 [10-5].

It was the duos  seventh straight WTA doubles crown.

They took the winning streak to 30 matches.

Sania tweeted: "Sydney Title number - next stop- Melbourne #SanTina #Incredibleweek."
