Sania Mirza-Bethanie Mattek-Sands lift Brisbane doubles title

Brisbane, Jan 7 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania MIrza and her doubles partner American Bethanie Mattek-Sands lifted their first women's doubles title of the year on Saturday.

The Indo-American pair clinched the Brisbane title by beating Russian team of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the final of the tournament.

They beat their opponents 6-2, 6-3.

Mirza tweeted: "Brisbane #1 #Titlenumber41 @bmattek https://www.instagram.com/p/BO98QV3B6E_/ ."
