Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik welcome baby boy

Islamabad, Oct 30 (IBNS): Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza and her husband Shoaib Malik have welcomed a baby boy.

Malik thanked people for their good wishes and made the announcement by tweeting: "Excited to announce: Its a boy, and my girl is doing great and keeping strong as usual #Alhumdulilah. Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled #BabyMirzaMalik  ."

Sania had taken a break from Tennis to have her baby.

She is expected to be back to the court for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Sania is one of the biggest names in Indian women Tennis paradigm. Her husband Malik is a Pakistani cricketer.

He had also served earlier in his career as the skipper of the Pakistani side.
