Shreyas Iyer selected in Indian team as support to injured Virat Kohli

Dharamsala, Mar 23 (IBNS): Mumbai cricketer Shreyas Iyer was selected in the Indian cricket team as a support to injured Virat Kohli for the fourth and final test match of the ongoing India-Australia series on Thursday.

The Indian captain has hurt his right shoulder during Ranchi test match while fielding and is yet to recover from the injury.

Though initially doctor rested him, Kohli came out to bat.

Iyer, who had great first class record for last two seasons, would join Indian team on Friday.

The final test at Dharamsala will begin on Saturday as the series is square so far.
