Social media abuzz after Ravi Shastri's TV comment

Adelaide, Dec 10 (IBNS): Social media is abuzz over an obscene comment that Indian cricket team coach Ravi Shastri made on live television after India beat Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Monday.

"...bilkul chhorenge nahi lekin thori der k liye waha par g*** muh me tha," Shastri, 56, said while speaking live on the official broadcaster.

This started a wave of reactions on Twitter.

"Right to expression well utilized on the #HumanRightsDay #INDvAUS #RaviShastri," said one netizen.

"Ravi Shastri is the Man of the Match," wrote another.

India defeated Australia by 31 runs in the first Test match at the Adelaide Oval here on Monday.

Chasing a target of 323, Australia were bowled out for 291 in the second innings.

In the first innings, Australia had scored 235 in reply to India's 250.

In the second innings, India scored 307.

Cheteshwar Pujara was the highest scorer in both the innings. He scored 123 and 71 in the two innings respectively.

India now lead four-match Test series 1-0.
