Sourav Ganguly wishes Zaheer Khan on birthday with a request

Kolkata, Oct 7 (IBNS): Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly on Sunday wished ex-Indian bowler Zaheer Khan on his 40th birthday.

However, Ganguly, who was the captain of Zaheer during their playing days for several years, asked the former pacer to reduce some weight.

"Happy birthday @ImZaheer zed K.. have a great year ...please loose some weight...u were India’s strength ," Ganguly tweeted.

Apart from Ganguly, former Indian batsman, Virender Sehwag said: "Happy Birthday to the man whose deliveries gatecrashed many stumps , have a great life ahead Gyaan Baba @ImZaheer !."

Another Khan's former colleague Harbhajan Singh remarked: "Happy birthday Mr khan ⁦@ImZaheer⁩ what a top man."

Zaheer is considered one of the biggest names in the paradigm of Indian fast bowling.

He played  200 ODIs, 92 Tests and 17 T20Is for the nation.
