Colombo/IBNS: Sri Lanka outplayed Shikhar Dhawan's India in all departments to win the third T20I match by seven wickets, clinching the three-match series win 2-1.

Chasing an easy target of 82, Sri Lanka reached home in 14.3 overs losing only three wickets.

Dhananjaya de Silva remained unbeaten at 23.

All three Sri Lanka wickets were picked by Rahul Chahar.

Earlier in the match, India reached 81/8 in 20 overs with due courtesy of Kuldeep Yadav's unbeaten 23 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 16 on a day the men-in-blue played without a number of players.

India missed a number of players who were quarantined after the COVID-19 breakout in the squad.

Wanindu Hasaranga was the bowler with best figures, 4/9 in four overs.
