Steve Smith caught on camera 'abusing' Vijay

Dharamsala, Mar 27 (IBNS):A freash controversy hit the ongoing Test series between India and Australia when the visiting team's skipper Steve Smith was caught on Television camera supposedly abusing Indian fielder Murali Vijay.

The incident reportedly occurred on the third day of the crucial fourth Test match of the series when  Vijay claimed a catch off last Australian batsman Josh Hazlewood.

An Australian journalist Neroli Meadows also shared the footage on her Twitter page and said: "In response to @BenHorne8 tweet. This is the video."

Another journalist Ben Horne also tweeted: "Murali Vijay claims a catch that was grounded. Steve Smith captured by TV cameras mouthing 'f***ing cheat'."

With just 87 runs required, India is on the verge of winning the series.

The series is currently levelled 1-1.
