Team 'Third Eye' wins Bengal bridge tournament

Kolkata/IBNS: 'Third Eye'  represented by veteran Vibhas Todi (captain), S Lahiri, S Basak, Sandip  Dutta, P P Khan and Subrata Saha won the prestigious team event in the Balarampur Chini East Zone & West Bengal State Bridge Championship.

'Team Kohinoor' comprising Jibak Tiwari, J N Roy, P K Baroi, S Dss, I Chatterjee and R Sirohia ended runners up , according to the West Bengal Bridge Association here Thursday.

In the MP pairs event,  P Poddar and S Ghosh bagged top position and were followed by the duos of  A Kar & P K Halder and B Saha & A Sadhu.

The  title for IMP Pairs Event went to strong contenders Badal Das & Sukamal Das while S Kar & S Bar and S Sadhukhan & S Bhattacharya finished at 2nd and 3rd position respectively.

Altogether  250 bridge enthusiasts took part in the championship which was held earlier this week at Thyagaraja Hall in the city.
