USA crash out of T20 World Cup after England registers 10- wicket victory in T20 World Cup's Super 8 clash

USA crashed out of the T20 World Cup after putting up a spirited performance in the tournament as co-hosts after the squad was defeated by England by 10 wickets here on Sunday.

England bowled out the USA for 115 runs and then reached the target of 117 runs without losing a wickets in 20 overs.

USA put up a fairytale run in the T20 tournament by registering victories against Canada and then mighty Pakistan to voice their emergence in global cricket.

The USA struggled to put up a strong show in the match with only Indian-origin  Nitish Kumar adding 30 runs with the willow top score the innings.

Former New Zealand star Corey Anderson added 29 runs with his willow.

Harmeet Singh contributed 21 runs with the bat.

Chris Jordan remained at the top of the British bowlers as he picked up four wickets while Adil Rashid and Sam Curran scalped two wickets each.

Skipper Jos Buttler (83*) smashed a 38-ball knock and Phil Salt remained unbeaten at 25 to reach the winning target.
The American bowlers failed to disturb English batsmen.
