Virat Kohli congratulates Sakshi Malik

Port of Spain, Aug 18 (IBNS): Skipper of India's Test team, Virat Kohli, on Thursday congratulated fellow athlete Sakshi Malik, who secured country's first medal in the ongoing Rio Olympics.

"Only an athlete knows the importance of a win.Our Olympic Heroes are fighting everyday to bring glory for India.Congratulations Sakshi Malik," Virat tweeted.

Malik won the Bronze medal after a grueling encounter.

Trailing by 0-5, she beat her opponent 8-5 to secure a podium finish.

Meanwhile, Virat's men will look to start the first day of the final Test match against West Indies in a positive manner, as a win over their hosts will secure their place on the top of ICC rankings list.
