Virat Kohli to lead India in first two ODIs against Windies

Mumbai, Oct 11 (IBNS): Virat Kohli will lead the Indian cricket team in the first two One Day International (ODI) matches against Windies.

Kohli was rested in the Asia Cup, which was won by the men-in-blue.

India and Windies will play a five-match ODI series.

Bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested for the first two matches.

The ODI series will begin on Oct 21 in Guwahati.

Indian team: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Ambati Rayudu, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (wicket-keeper), Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Khaleel Ahmed, Shardul Thakur.
