Mumbai: Indian basmati rice exporter GRM Overseas has announced that its board has approved the fund-raise of Rs.136.5 core through the issue of share warrants on preferential basis to 33 promoters and non-promoter investors.

New Delhi: India’s exports of premium-quality basmati rice saw a rise of 22 percent, reaching a total value of $5.2 billion from April 2023 to February 2024, propelled by strong demand, particularly from West Asia, a media report said.

Chandigarh/UNI: As a result of efforts of the Haryana government to attract foreign investment and promote exports with the aim of enhancing the economic development of the state, Latin American countries, Cuba and Chile, have expressed interest to purchase Basmati rice from Haryana and a delegation of Cuba will visit the state next month for this purpose.
