Bandhan Bank starts online collection of direct taxes

Kolkata: Bandhan Bank today announced that it has launched the facility to collect direct taxes online from its customers and non-customers across India.

Mumbai/IBNS: RBL Bank has been authorised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), based on a recommendation from the Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance and Government of India (GoI), to collect direct taxes on behalf of the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).

New Delhi, Oct 11 (IBNS): The Union Ministry of Finance said on Wednesday that the provisional figures of Direct Tax collections up to September, 2017 show that net collections totaled Rs. 3.86 lakh crore, which is 15.8 per cent higher than the net collections for the corresponding period of last year.
