New Delhi, Dec 17 (IBNS): The fluctuating price of imported coking coal is bleeding Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), as the company has to pay heavily for importing good quality coking coal for its steel plants.

New Delhi, June 2 (IBNS): Maintaining emphasis on higher sales, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) registered an aggressive sales growth of 11% in May 2014, at 1.06 million tonnes (MT), compared to 0.96 MT in same month last year (SMLY).

New Delhi, May 28 (IBNS): State-run steelmaker Steel Authority of India Limited registered an increase of 20.6% in its PAT, to Rs 2,616 crore in FY14 up from Rs 2,170 crore in FY13.
