New UK variant in India, but the existing COVID-19 precautions should work fine against the virus: CCMB

Hyderabad/UNI: CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) has said that the new variant of the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19, B.1.1.7 is believed to be 71 per cent more transmittable than the other variants.
