New York, Aug 19 (IBNS) The United Nations World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday said any persons with an illness consistent with Ebola should not be allowed to travel by air, sea or land from affected countries unless it is part of a medical evacuation, as it also expressed concern over the threats and harassment of health workers in West African countries developing into a "worry element."

New York, Aug 14 (IBNS): Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday convened a United Nations system-wide coordination meeting in response to the current Ebola outbreak in West Africa, which is now affecting more than 1 million people in the so-called “hot zone of disease transmission” on the borders of the three countries most impacted by the disease.
