Srinagar/IBNS: Two new government medical colleges (GMCs) in Jammu and Kashmir, GMC Handwara and Udhampur will start their academic sessions this year.

Centre provides 27 pc reservation for OBCs, 10 pc for Economically Weaker Sections in medical courses

New Delhi/IBNS: The Centre has allowed a 27 per cent reservation for Other Backward Classes and 10 per cent reservation for the Economically Weaker Sections under the All India Quota Scheme for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced on Thursday.

J&K: Medical courses at AIIMS Kashmir from next academic year

Srinagar:  The government of India has directed the J&K administration to set-up a temporary campus adjacent to the proposed site of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in south Kashmir’s Awantipora for starting medical courses from next academic year.

Jipmer to conduct computer-based online exam for MBBS course next month

Puducherry,May 31(UNI) Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, will conduct a common computer-based on-line Entrance examination for admission into MBBS course, 2019 session on June 2.
