Kolkata, Mar 13 (IBNS): Replacing Biman Basu, the politburo member of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal assembly Surya Kanta Mishra was elected as the new state secretary of the party on Friday.

Kolkata, Mar 13 (IBNS): The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) on Friday named senior party leader and Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal assembly Surya Kanta Mishra as the new state secretary of the party's West Bengal unit.
