Amnesty denounces award for soldier who used human shield in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 23 (IBNS): The Indian Army’s decision to present an award to a soldier suspected of having a man tied to a moving military jeep in Jammu and Kashmir last month to combat the stone pelters gives the impression that it condones human rights abuses, Amnesty International India said Tuesday.
