Venkaiah Naidu launches Swachh Survekshan of 500 cities

New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS): Union Minister of Urban Development M.Venkaiah Naidu launched ‘Swachh Suvekshan-2017’ on Thursday in New Delhi to assess and rank 500 cities and towns based on levels of sanitation and efforts made by respective urban local bodies and also to capture progress towards achieving ‘Open Defecation Free’ statusas well as release various publications and mobile applications to help them prepare for the survey to be conducted in January 2017.
