Delhi CEO seeks report over BJP leader Anurag Thakur's 'shoot the traitors' comment

New Delhi/IBNS: The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Delhi on Tuesday sought a report from the returning officer in Rithala constituency over Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anurag Thakur's sloganeering where he gave a call to shoot the "traitors" while lashing out at the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) protestors, media reports said.

Agartala, May 3 (UNI): The controversy over election in West Tripura parliamentary constituency in first phase has taken its toll further following BJP accusing Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sriram Taranikanti alleging him of conspiring against the government with opposition parties.
