New Delhi/IBNS: The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the validity of a key citizenship rule that granted citizenship to Bangladeshi refugees who came to India between 1966 to 1971, media reports said.

Guwahati, Dec 12 (IBNS): The Meghalaya High Court has urged the Prime Minister, Union Law minister and Parliament to bring a legislation to allow citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, Christians, Khasis, Jaintias and Garos, who have come from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, without any documents.
