Crime against children up as per number of registered cases

New Delhi, Mar 3 (IBNS) Minister of Women and Child Development, Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, in reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday said that as per National Crime Records Bureau, a total of 38,172 cases, 58,224 cases and 89,423 cases were registered under crime against children during 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Kolkata, Sept 28 (IBNS): West Bengal is not as safe for children as it is often thought to be, particularly for minor girls, if one were to go by the data recently published by National Crime Records Bureau.
