CAA clashes: Entry-Exit gates of 5 metro stations shut, Delhi police imposes sec 144 in affected areas

New Delhi/UNI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Monday closed entry and exit gates of five stations following violence in northeast Delhi’s Jaffrabad and Maujpur during clashes between pro-Citizenship (Amendment) Act agitators and those who are against the Act even as Delhi Police imposed section 144 of CrPc in affected areas.

CAA protests: Violence erupts in parts of Delhi, constable killed

New Delhi/IBNS: A police constable was killed as violence once again erupted in northeast Delhi during protests for and against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA, media reports said.
