Artists, eminent personalities join doctors' protest over NRS issue in Kolkata

In solidarity with the agitators, several eminent personalities and people from different walks of life joined the doctors' protest against the attack on junior doctor of Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital (NRSMCH), Paribaha Mukhopadhyay, on Friday (June 14, 2019) evening. The protest, which took place between NRSMCH and Calcutta Medical College, was joined by veteran film actress Aparna Sen, theatre personality Bibhas Chakraborty, singers Anupam Roy and Rupam Islam. Kolkata, Dec 4 (IBNS): Demanding proper investigation into the Korpan Shah case and punishment of perpetrators, eight social workers organizations hosted a protest rally in Kolkata on Thursday.
