Starbucks opens its stores in Kolkata

American coffee house chain Starbucks has finally opened its stores in Kolkata in a star-studded gathering on Tuesday. Starbucks, which has kept its feet in Kolkata for the first time, opened three stores on the same day in a city which eagerly waited for the chain to open shops here. Tata Starbucks Private Limited which opened the coffee shops is a 50:50 joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and Starbucks Coffee of the US. Images by Avishek Mitra/IBNS
