Mumbai: The Chilean film Forgotten Roads (by Nicol Ruiz) won the Best Narrative Feature film, the Argentinian film Canela (by Cecilia del Valle) won the Best Documentary film, and young Brazilian trans actress Maria Eduardo Mia won the Best Performance in a Lead Role (for her role in Advent of Mary) at the 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia's biggest LGBTQI film festival.

Mumbai: As the 12th edition of KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, South Asia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ film festival, comes to a close on Sunday,  a grand spectacle at the  Closing & Award ceremony is planned at 6.00 pm on the festival’s social media handle @kashishfilmfest.
