New York,July 16 (IBNS) Calling them "the backbone" of Haiti, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesdaypraised national police recruits and the efforts under way to strengthen the rule of law in the country, as he continued his visit to the Caribbean nation.
