UN concerned at deaths from boat accidents in Mediterranean

New York, May 14 (IBNS): The United Nations on Tuesday voiced deep concern at the rising death toll from boat accidents in the Mediterranean Sea this year as increasing numbers of asylum-seekers and refugees make the journey on unsafe vessels, often at the hands of ruthless smugglers.
