UN mission in Afghanistan reports 'worrying' rise in child casualties

New York, Oct 19 (Just Earth News): Even though overall conflict-related civilian casualty numbers in Afghanistan fell by one per cent in the first nine months of 2016 compared to the same period in 2015, child casualties saw a marked increase of 15 per cent, the United Nations mission in the country said on Wednesday.
