Afghan civilian casualties hit half-year record, with 5,166 dead or maimed – UN

New York, July 25 (Just Earth News): In the first six months of this year, 5,166 civilians were either killed or maimed in Afghanistan, a half-year record since counting began in 2009, a United Nations report published on Monday shows.
