New York, May 3 (IBNS): The suffering of United States inmate Clayton Lockett during his execution in Oklahoma on Apr 29 could amount to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment according to international human rights law, the United Nations said on Friday, calling on the US authorities to impose an immediate moratorium on the use of the death penalty.
