Menthol ban in Tobacco products: Health Canada

Toronto, Nov 5(IBNS): A new proposal has come up from the Health Canada to amend the Tobacco Act to prohibit “the use of menthol in cigarettes, blunt wraps and most cigars sold on the Canadian market”, to curb the smoking rates among the youth.

New York, May 31 (IBNS): Ahead of World No Tobacco Day, the United Nations health agency is calling on countries to raise taxes on tobacco to encourage users to stop and prevent other people from becoming addicted to tobacco.
