Kuwait City, May 10 (Xinhua/UNI) Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah condemned a suicide bomb attack in Iraq, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said on Friday.

New York, Aug 18 (IBNS):  Remembering 22 colleagues killed by the “horrific terrorist attack” on the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad 15 years ago, Secretary-General António Guterres has called on all staff to pay tribute to the fallen by “continuing their mission,” and keep going to “dangerous places with the aim of making them safer”.

New York, Aug  11 (IBNS): On 19 August 2003, a suicide bomber drove a truck full of explosives to the United Nations headquarters in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Iraq, and blew it up, killing 22 people – among them Sergio Vieira de Mello, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and the head of the UN mission in Iraq.
