Canada: Manitoba govt announces new safe house for Brandon’s Indigenous women

Winnipeg/IBNS: In order to keep Bandon's Indigenous women safe, Manitoba's Families Minister Nahanni Fontaine, who is responsible for women and gender equity, has announced a grant of $500,000 for providing a 24x7 safe space to support Brandon’s indigenous women.
