Washington/Beijing: Chinese leader Xi Jinping is unwilling to accept Western vaccines despite the challenges China is facing with Covid-19, a US official said Saturday, according to media reports.

Dhaka: Bangladesh has approved the proposal to purchase 15 million COVID-19 vaccine doses from China even by paying more than the rate the country needed to procure AstraZeneca vaccine from India, media reports said.
