Arrest warrants issued for 49 Turkish suspects over ties to IS, Gulen Movement

Ankara: The Turkish authorities have issued arrest warrants for 49 suspects in two investigations over their alleged ties to the Islamic State (IS) and the Gulen Movement, the Chief Public Prosecutor's office said Tuesday.

Moscow, Jul 23 (Sputnik) Turkish prosecutors issued on Tuesday arrest warrants for 47 military officers, including those still on active duty, for their alleged links to the movement of US-based Muslim cleric Fetullah Gulen, referred to as the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) by Ankara, local media reported.
