Thailand confirms first MERS case as outbreak spreads – UN health agency

New York, June 20 (IBNS) Thailand has confirmed its first case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS, in a male traveller from Oman, and the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday is urging countries in Southeast Asia to step up vigilance and review preparedness to respond to the disease.
