US Immigration Department says it has reached 65,000 H-1B visa cap for 2023

Washington: The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on Tuesday said it has received a sufficient number of petitions needed to reach the congressionally mandated 65,000 H-1B visa regular cap for fiscal year (FY) 2023.

Washington/IBNS: After rescinding the new rules to keep foreign students out of the country, the United States immigration officials said the new foreign students will be barred from entering the country if they decide to take the classes entirely online, an AP report said.
