Internet watchdog removes 33,000 apps with illegal content

Beijing, Apr 13 (Xinhua/UNI) Chinese authorities have removed more than 33,000 mobile apps that contain illegal content, such as those involving porn, gambling, rogue programs and illegal games since December, the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said.

New York, Mar 7 (IBNS): The UN Security Council met behind closed doors on Wednesday, to discuss the latest findings of the global chemical weapons watchdog in Syria, which concluded that there were “reasonable grounds” that a chemical attack took place during the crucial battle for control of Eastern Ghouta, last April.

Damascus, Apr 27 (IBNS): Damascus airport was rocked by a massive explosion near the facility on early Thursday, reports said.

The incident was reported by UK based watch-group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. "The blast was huge and could be heard in Damascus," Rami Abdel Rahman, head of SOHR was quoted as saying in the media. The cause of the explosion is not clear as of yet. Further details awaited.
