Many dead in three-way train accident in Odisha
At least 50 died and over 300 were injured in a triple train crash on Friday evening in Odisha’s Balasore region. The trains involved in the collision and derailment are the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express and a goods train. Coaches of the Bengaluru-Howrah Express had derailed and fell on adjacent tracks. Coromandel Express collided on them. It also hit a goods train. Rescue operations are on. More casualties feared.
