A storm is a-coming: Stormy Daniels says appearing on SNL

Los Angeles, May 6 (IBNS): Adult film actress Stormy Daniels has made surprise appearance in  American TV show Saturday Night Live (SNL)  and mocked US President Donald Trump, media reports said.

Daniels mocked the US President over his alleged relationship with her.

In the skit, apart from the adult film actress, who appeared in reality, actor Alec Baldwin playing Trump, Ben Stiller playing Trump's embattled lawyer Michael Cohen, Martin Short as the President's personal physician Harold Bornstein and Aidy Bryant as White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also featured.

Daniels called for President Donald Trump's resignation in the sketch when asked by impersonator Alec Baldwin's Trump what would put an end to the scandal involving the porn star and the president, reported ABC News.

As per the ABC News report, Baldwin's Trump instead suggestively hit on Daniels, saying "my polls are up."

"Sorry, it's too late for that," Daniels was quoted as saying.

"I know you don't believe in climate change, but a storm's a-coming," she said.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer earlier said she is suing US President Donald Trump in connection with a "defamatory" tweet about alleged threats against her.

Daniels had earlier claimed that she was threatened by a man at a car parking spot in Las Vegas to drop her allegations of an affair with the US President.

Trump had retweeted the sketch of a man and called it a 'con job'.

"A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!," the US President had tweeted last month.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer representing the adult-film actress Stormy Daniels, said they have sued the President 'for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements'.

"Moments ago, we filed this lawsuit against Mr. Trump for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements about my client @stormydaniels. He is well aware of what transpired and his complicity. We fully intend on bringing it to light. #buckleup #basta," he tweeted.

American pornographic actress Stormy Daniels last month came out with a sketch of a man, who had allegedly threatened her seven years ago over her affair with US President Donald Trump, media reports said.

Stephanie A. Gregory Clifford, who is professionally known as Stormy Daniels, was reportedly offering an amount of $100,000 as a reward to anyone who could identify the unknown person.

Daniels also alleged to have a sexual encounter with President Trump way back in 2006.

Giving an interesting twist to the whole episode, the porn star said she had signed an agreement just before 2016 US presidential election to stay mum on her relationship with the US President.

Daniels' claim coincided with Trump's long-term lawyer Michael Cohen's revelation in which he said to have prepared the agreement with Daniels ahead of 2016 election. Cohen said he himself paid off the actress an amount of $130,000.

The whole saga broke out in March when Daniels, at a television interview, said she was threatened to be quiet over the affair in 2011.

She said a man had approached her in a Las Vegas car park in 2011 over the issue.

Daniels told CBS News the man had allegedly said she should  "leave Trump alone".

She said the incident occurred after she decided to tell her story to a magazine.

"I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter. T-- taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, gettin' all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.' And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, 'That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom.' And then he was gone," the actress told CBS News.

However, Trump has denied having an affair with the actress.
